Throw Your Flag™ Is Now Available on Etsy!
A Game Made for Football Fans
I've always enjoyed coming up with new ideas, especially ones that combine a little creativity with something I already love. My latest project, Throw Your Flag™, is a game designed to make watching football even more entertaining.
And now, I'm excited to announce that Throw Your Flag is officially available on Etsy!
Our Interactive Football Party Game
If you've ever watched a football game and wanted to throw your own penalty flag at the television, this one's for you.
Throw Your Flag turns those familiar game-day reactions into an interactive experience. Each set includes four colorful, weighted cloth flags:
- Yellow Flag: For penalties and questionable calls.
- Red Flag: For challenging a call on the field.
- Green Flag: For those game-changing plays.
- Team Flag: Choose your favorite team color and celebrate the big moments.
The set also includes a reusable canvas drawstring carrying bag and printed game instructions.
More Than Just Throwing Flags
We've developed a couple of different ways to play, including Classic Play and Down by Down, where you throw specific flags depending on which team has possession and the current down.
There's also an optional artificial turf target for anyone who wants to add a little friendly competition. Place the turf square approximately 10 feet away and try to land your flags on it to score points.
It's a simple concept, but that's part of the fun. You can play along while watching your favorite team, compete with friends, or just enjoy having something to throw when the referees make another questionable call!
From an Idea to an Etsy Shop
One thing that makes this project especially fun is that my wife and I created Throw Your Flag together. From developing the concept and figuring out how the game should work to putting together the finished product, it's been a team effort. We've had a lot of fun bringing the idea to life, and we're excited to finally share it with other football fans.
What started as a fun concept eventually turned into a finished product, complete with its own website and now an Etsy shop. There's something very satisfying about holding a product in your hands that previously existed only in your imagination.
And yes, we've already made our first sale!
