Free Unit Study for Beneath the Cloudline
I remember being assigned books in school that I was supposed to appreciate, but had no interest in. The classics have their place. I get that now. But as a kid, I didn't relate to most of those stories or see how they connected to what interested me. When I wrote Beneath the Cloudline , I hoped to create something that could help a young reader take the story one step further. Maybe a student gets interested in knots or how knowledge gets passed down? Maybe they start wondering how pulleys and counterweights work? Maybe they want to know how a hawk can circle without flapping its wings? Maybe an engineered plant in a fictional world leads them to ecology or farming? Maybe they start asking how cities get water, and who keeps the infrastructure working?
