Logo Design Evolution: From Concept to Final

Here's a new logo we designed with a brief summary of our logo design process:
  1. Start out with a few rough ideas from client (company name, colors and tagline)
  2. Put together a mock-up of 4 different concepts
    • Work with sets of four and bounce around between them
    • Limit to 3-4 different fonts
    • Play off a word, idea or symbol and incorporate
  3. Generate a PDF and email to client for review
  4. Iterate and tweak
  5. Client decides on final version
  6. Output logo in high resolution (EPS, PDF and PNG)

Rank Me Button for SEO

Just press the Rank Me button

Inspired by the April Fool's post over at Bing's Webmaster Blog

Ah, if only it were that easy.  Everyone wants to be number one in search ranking.  The problem is, they don't want to put in the time, money or effort.

So what can one do?  Well, you can go the route of pay-per-click, and many do.  But in my opinion, PPC should always run in parallel to a solid organic SEO campaign.

Patience is a virtue, so I recommend a slow and steady approach to search engine optimization.  Follow the Webmaster Guidelines, and cultivate quality content over time.

Logo Designs Created for Local Business

We designed a couple of logos this week.  Logo creation is by far the most enjoyable work we do. Something about crafting a new brand identity and seeing it on public display is very rewarding.

Check out our logo design portfolio to see the type of work we've done over the past decade or so.
